THE EMERALD CROSSING
Back when it wasn’t pouring rain every day and the sun shone down over Bali, we were lucky to embark on a day strike mission with the lovely crew at Uluwatu Surf Charters. Onboard with us was a group of close friends, including Yanik and Yhevin from Salty Swamis and team rider Mencos. Without any particular spot in mind, we launched off over calm and crystal waters, waking up slowly with the sunrise along the way. We were blessed with more ocean friends joining us in the form of a large pod of curios dolphins, proving to be a good luck charm for the rest of the day.
What we rocked up to was nothing short of perfection - peeling clean waves with nobody around and barely a whisper of wind. We spent the day frothing over the conditions, trading boards between sessions and feeling like stoked little groms again. Our quiver consisted of a couple of logs, a Long Fish, square tail Ocean Tracer and a Surya that flew under the feet of Mencos.
After a long day under a scorching sun, we enjoyed a couple of cold ones on a secluded beach, laughing over how good we got it. Doesn’t get much better than that! We’ll leave you with a few snaps below.
